Mel Slater

Biography

Mel Slater is Distinguished Investigator at the University of Barcelona, Spain, where he leads the Event Lab. He was formerly full Professor in the Computer Science Department at University College London. He has a particular interest in virtual reality for the creation of social scenarios, and also in using the power of virtual reality for changing the self, research that is focused on the interface between computer science and neuroscience.
