Aekaterini Mavri

Biography

Dr Aekaterini Mavri has a PhD in Educational Technology from the Cyprus University of Technology, an MA in Interaction Design and a BA in Visual Communication Design from Middlesex University (UK). She is a senior researcher at the Cyprus Interaction Lab and a full-time teaching staff member at the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts at the Cyprus University of Technology.

Her research interests focus on the design, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum-integrated social learning models, such as cross-organizational communities of practice, that integrate academic and industrial practices in the Higher Education Design disciplines. Aekaterini is the initiator of the CUT-IXN Industry Exchange Network (IXN) initiative in collaboration with University College London (UCL).
