Dr Tania Garcia Vite is a Cognitive Neuroscientist with a passion for technology, health and science. She was born and raised in Mexico where she earned a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Sleep Disorders by the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She went on to complete a PhD in Cognitive Science / Neuropsychology from the University of Essex, UK for which she was awarded a full scholarship by the National Council for Science and Technology in Mexico. She was also a postdoctoral researcher for the School of Health Sciences at University of East Anglia within the Sleep and Brain Research Unit. As a result of her academic and professional experience, she has a strong background in Sleep Science, Cognitive Neuroscience, Autistic Spectrum and Brain Rhythms for which she has conducted studies in lab, clinical and industry settings. Additionally, she has experience with various physiological techniques, signal analysis and neuromodulation techniques such as EEG, NIRS, eye tracking, and neurofeedback.
