Abstract: The lecture presents a new practical approach to digital photogrammetry to obtain 3D models of polychromatic sculptures under ultraviolet fluorescence by starting from photographic images.

The generated ultraviolet 3D models of the sculptures make visible, in a single file, the fluorescence induced by UV radiation on the entire object, highlighting surface abrasions, organic dyes, and ancient protective features. In conclusion, the ultraviolet fluorescence 3D models are particularly useful as documentation tools for the conservation status and for the painting construction, allowing us to perfectly map the original and restoration materials in single dynamic 3D files following a totally non-invasive, cost-effective, and rapid approach

Abstract: This presentation concerns the multispectral imaging technique applied to cultural heritage through an innovative system named Hypercolorimetric Multispectral Imaging, developed by the society Profilocolore (Rome).
The principles and the experimental set-up of the system will be explained by showing the different parts composing the technique: the modified full-range digital camera; the filters; the illuminating system based on modified flashes; and the color checker together with the white patches necessary for obtaining calibrated and reproducible images.
Moreover, the technique is completed by the software group: Spectrapick, that is the calibration software based on AI algorithms, and Pickviewer that is the processing software able to elaborate the calibrated images for gathering as much as information as possible.
Pickviewer allows for obtaining false colour IR and UV images; spectral similarities between different parts of the image; PCA on different bands in the investigated spectral range (from 300 to 1000 nm), etc.
The potentiality of HMI will be shown through some case studies selected between the various activities performed with the technique.
