Shaziye Mehmet

Biography

Ms Saziye Mehmet graduated with a BSc from International Relations and European Studies. During her studies, she was a volunteer for the IREA Society which represented the University in various European countries and engaged with different partners for networking. She obtained an MBA in Human Resources Management (HRM) and Oil & Gas Management. Her thesis on HRM was to create a performance appraisal system for the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (TCCC) which was implemented in the organization. Ms Mehmet worked as a Business Development Specialist and Quality Management Expert as well as actively taking part in the Human Resources Association. She coordinated the ISO certifications of CYENS and the TCCC. Further, she was involved in St. Hilarion Rotary Club projects which are designed to impact social responsibility. Ms Mehmet is currently the Innovation Officer at CYENS involved with Turkish Cypriot engagement.
