A conventional motion capture laboratory Capture System Impulse suitable for capturing motion on site a great facility for the film/entertainment industry and other types of industry.

Equipment and Expertise

Our equipment and technical expertise will give you the edge in creating extremely accurate captured data of skeletal motion of humans and more. 

  • CYENS has purchased a state-of-the-art Conventional motion capture system (Capture System Impulse X2E) through Phasespace Inc in California, USA which is based on markers and is considered to be a quick and extremely accurate method for capturing the skeletal motion of humans with 24 cameras (Capture System Impulse X2E with capture rate of 960 frames per second at full 13MP resolution with active markers). 

A Psychophysics lab equipped with necessary tools to be used in many applications such as in Life science (rehabilitation, physiotherapy, custom wearable devices design, enrich knowledge about biomechanics in relation to different cognitive and physical situations), in Virtual reality, in Entertainment, etc, including:

Our equipment and technical expertise will give you the edge in conducting experiments on physiotherapy, biomechanics and in designing custom wearable devices. 

Equipment:

  • “Biopack” equipment, concerning the recording of physiological signals 

  • An “XSENS” Portable Wireless full body mocap system that can be used outside of the lab 

  • A “DelSys” Platform (Electromyography equipment - Delsys 16-Channel EMG System) that can be used in many applications such as in Life science (rehabilitation, physiotherapy, custom wearable devices design, enrich knowledge about biomechanics in relation to different cognitive and physical situations), in Virtual reality, in Entertainment, etc. 

  • A High-End “EIZO” Monitor for the subjective evaluation of Image/videos output of Image Processing/Computer Vision algorithms. 

A Virtual Reality lab with VR and AR technologies for running various types of applications and scientific studies, in many areas such as in entertainment, space, medical, industry, arts etc.

  • An HTC Vive Pro Eye 

  • An HTC Vive Pro Full Kit (including trackers & stripes) 

  • Two HTC Vive Pro Full Kits 

  • Two Oculus Quest 

  • Two Oculus Rift (including Touch Virtual Reality System) 

  • A Varjo VR headset 

  • A VR-ready PC with 3090 graphics card 

A Robotics laboratory with “interactive media” through teleoperation and semi-autonomous control, “smart systems” by definition, and an “emerging technology” which is expected to have an enormous impact in every aspect of society.

Equipment:

  • A drone swarm for multi-path planning -environmental monitoring - disaster response - super-resolution applications – exhibitions with lights - video editing consisted of Parrot Anafi drones consisting of: 

    • 3 ANAFI (plain) 
    • 1 ANAFI FPV 
    • 1 ANAFI Extended 
 
  • 4-leg ROBOT: An intelligent robot (Unitree’s A1 model).  4-legged ones are an emerging, promising technology for supporting humans in settings such as disaster response, agriculture, decommissioning, and inspection.
