News / News / 19th International Conference on Computer Analysis of Images and Patterns (CAIP)
18 November. 2021
The 19th International Conference on Computer Analysis of Images and Patterns (CAIP) was carried out with great success. The conference, which invited novel contributions to the automatic analysis of images and patterns, encompassing both new challenging application areas and substantial new theoretical developments in the field, received 150 participations. The conference presenters came from universities and research centres from 28 different countries from Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa.

A total of 87 presentations, multiple industrial lectures and tutorials were included in the program with over 50 attendees during the live stream of the conference. A variety of sessions was offered in different areas such as 3D Vision, Deep Learning, Biometrics, Face and Gesture, Biomedical Image and Pattern Analysis and others.

All keynote speeches as well as the opening and closing sessions of the conference were recorded and are available on the conference website at http://cyprusconferences.org/caip2021/program/.

CAIP 2021 proceedings were published by Springer Verlag’s series Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) in two volumes and are available for 30 days free access at http://cyprusconferences.org/caip2021/proceedings/.

Following the success of CAIP 2021, CAIP Executive Committee decided that CAIP 2023 will also be organized in Cyprus, organized and sponsored by CYENS and co-organized and co-sponsored by the University of Cyprus, the Cyprus University of Technology, and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Cyprus Chapters of Signal Processing Society and Computational Intelligence Society.
