On Wednesday 25th of November, the 1st Advisory Board Meeting of the Centre took place with distinguished professionals and academics, RISE Board of Directors and staff members of various committees with our organization.
 
The mandate of the advisory board is to evaluate the Centre’s progress and performance and members convene once every two years to provide an evaluation report to the Centre’s Board of Directors and the Project Coordination Committee.
 
The meeting was addressed by Prof. Sirivianos on behalf of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the RISE Centre of Excellence, Mr. Constantinos Yiorkadjis, Mayor of Nicosia. The meeting continued with introductions of the Advisory board members, the members of the Board of Directors and the members of the two committees present.
 
Following the introductions, the meeting continued with an introduction of RISE Centre of Excellence, with presentations from the Project Coordinator, COO, Research Director and Innovation Advisor.
 
Special thanks to Prof. Dieter who has accepted the role of the  Advisory Board Chair after being appointed by the board.
