The CYENS Center of Excellence is proud to announce the awarding of a brand new SNS JU Program, the ADROIT-6G!

With a total budget of EUR 6.4 million, ADROIT-6G (Distributed Artificial Intelligence-driven open and programmable architecture for 6G networks) brings together 13 partners from 10 EU and Associated countries to prepare the EU for early market adoption of 6G technologies by the end of the decade (6GIA).

Over the next three years, ADROIT-6G will propose disruptive innovations in the architecture of emerging 6G mobile networks that will make fundamental changes to the way networks are designed, implemented, operated, and maintained. Such innovations include:

(i) AI/ ML-powered optimizations across the entire network, for high performance and automation;
(ii) Transforming to a fully cloud-native network software, which can be implemented across a variety of edge-cloud platforms, including Non-Terrestrial Networks, with security built integrally into the network user plane;
(iii) Software driven, zero-touch operations and ultimately automation of every aspect of the network and the services it delivers.

ADROIT6G innovations, functionalities and performance will be validated through 3 representative extreme 6G use cases (i.e., Holographic Telepresence, Industrial IoT, Collaborative Robots/drones).

CYENS will be the Technical and scientific manager of the project, the WP Lead in Integration and Validation, and the responsible partner for the Holographic Telepresence proof of concept.

Stay tuned for more upcoming exciting activities! If you are interested in the use of emerging technologies, contact us for further information and the opportunity to collaborate with us in the framework of this project and other similar initiatives!
