News / News / Information Webinar on new UCY Master on Artificial Intelligence
02 May. 2022
You are invited to an information webinar on the new Master programme on Artificial Intelligence of the Department of Computer Science of the University of Cyprus. The development of the Master programme is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility program of the European Health and Digital Executive Agency of the EU, under project “Master Programmes in AI 4 Careers in Europe” (MAI4CAREU) and is to be taught in English, starting this September.

The webinar will be held on Wednesday May 4th at 5pm through Zoom (the link is given below), with the purpose of presenting and discussing the structure, content, and key features of this programme emanating from the international network of collaborating partners, that would provide students with the opportunity to participate in an AI Camp, teaming with students from the other universities, to pursue an industrial internship or even to attend online courses of the collaborating universities. These are the University of Bologna, the University of Ruse Angel Kanchev, and the Technische Universität Dresden. The four universities will also share the courses on AI and Ethics, and AI and Entrepreneurship. The role of the CYENS Centre of Excellence and the industrial partners (high-tech SMEs in Cyprus, Italy, and Bulgaria) is key in developing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, in connecting students with industry and in providing effective career counselling to them.
We look forward to virtually meeting you on May 4th to discuss the programme and answer your questions.
