5 CYENS research teams have started working on exciting new projects that will bridge both cultural and disciplinary boundaries. Funded through the Centre’s Island-Wide Perspective and Reach grants initiative, each will apply new technologies and methods to solve a societal challenge while encouraging cross-community engagement and collaboration.


The five projects are:

CO-FOR-IT Coalition for Forestation Using Information Technologies
socialLab Social Interactions Across (Language) Barriers
CyCLOPS Cypriot Youth and Online Content: Looking Beyond the Single Perspective in Information Access Systems
