CYENS Center of Excellence and its Chairman, the Mayor of Nicosia Constantinos Yiorkadjis welcomed Secretary General of the General Secretariat of European Affairs, Ambassador Louis Telemachou and Mr Andreas Kazantes, Second Secretary of the Cyprus Question and Turkish Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus on Thursday 22nd of September 2022.
During their visit CYENS' vision, current research and innovation projects, and the Turkish Cypriot Community engagement activities under CYENS auspices were discussed. CYENS presented its activities within science diplomacy as our efforts to develop, maintain, and organise innovation activities including capacity building, training, and networking to foster joint initiatives between the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus have offered CYENS full support to continue our work in driving the cross-communal collaboration.
