CYENS Center of Excellence is pleased to announce its Year-round Internship Program Topics for undergraduate- and graduate-level students and early career individuals for the year 2022. Several paid Internship slots are offered for full-time or part-time engagement for 2 to 6 months. Interns will be expected to give an open presentation of their work and findings before the end of their time with CYENS.

CYENS is a joint venture between the three public universities of Cyprus (University of Cyprus, Cyprus University of Technology and Open University of Cyprus), the Municipality of Nicosia, and two renowned international partners, Max Planck Institut Informatik (MPI) of Germany and University College London (UCL) of the United Kingdom.
Designed to act as an integrator of academic research and industrial innovation, CYENS will use its Internship Program to inspire talented young researchers by exposing them to cutting-edge methods and Research in Interactive media, Smart systems and Emerging technologies. 
 
Interns will have the opportunity to carry out research as part of one of the Center’s Multidisciplinary Research Groups (MRGs). CYENS’ main goal is to give successful candidates the opportunity to improve their analytical and technical skills in an international environment as they will be introduced to the use of the latest methods and techniques in a chosen field or fields, such as Robotics, Mobile Augmented Reality, Machine Learning for Computer Animation, Animation and simulation of virtual humans, Crowd Simulation, Engineering and Robotics, Performance Capture and eHealth.

Due to the corona virus pandemic remote internship arrangements will be considered and assessed on a case-by-case basis.
