During the AgriFoodTech conference everything revolves around new technology for the Agri & Food sector. RISE SuPerWorld MRG Leader, Dr. Andreas Kamilaris presented a paper titled “Transferring manure from livestock farms to be used as fertilizer in crop fields” on the 12^th of December as part of the Workshop on Agricultural Robotics – Program within the AgriFoodTech 2019 conference. The idea is that if manure is used as organic fertilizer in crop fields, then nitrogen does not end up polluting the soils and waters nearby livestock farms causing pollution and contamination.
