24 July. 2019

On Monday, July 22nd 2019, a full-day training on eye tracking via the use of cutting-edge technologies was delivered successfully to the RISE researchers by the representatives of the Tobii Pro company (https://www.tobii.com/). As part of the training, the RISE researchers received theoretical input on the use and function of eye trackers (e.g., how human vision works, eye movement types and attention, how eye tracking methodologies works), and participated in the on-site installation of the new equipment. The training concluded with a set of practical activities on the use of the Tobii Pro Nano and the Tobii Pro Glasses 2 Live View Wireless 50 eye trackers, in combination with reflective discussions on various research design strategies with the use of eye tracking technologies. The training was highly valuable to the RISE researchers, as it enriched their methodological background, contributing to their future research endeavours.
