The CYENS Thinker Maker Space in collaboration with Lovenlight present an exhibition featuring furniture and objects designed and crafted by Lovenlight.
Join us on the opening night for a presentation on the Lovenlight path which is full of ideas and challenges that occur throughout the creative process. With learning through making as a core philosophy, the team walks you through the furniture and objects presented in the exhibition and how ultimately they culminated in the signature piece that is the Lovenlight chess set.
The presentation is followed by a hands-on introductory workshop to woodturning on the 24th of November.

Sahand and Navid Gholipour were born in Rasht, Iran, and are now based in Limassol, Cyprus where they founded lovenlight in 2010. Their designs merge the diversity of Eastern forms with Western modern design and seek innovation while respecting tradition both in functionality and form. Their furniture pieces have been featured in publications and exhibited in various exhibitions in Cyprus. In 2019 they received the BigSEE Wood Design Award and in 2021 Michelangelo Foundation featured them in the Homo Faber Guide.
